Is LEZÉ the Label worth it? Sierra Boyfriend Blazer Review

I’ve had the black Sierra Boyfriend Blazer from from LEZÉ the Label for several months now and have worn it many times - to the office, to work from home, to run errands, you name it! Since the blazer can easily be dressed up or down and is nice and warm, I love to throw it on when I’m heading out and want to look a little elevated. And, having worn it several times and in several situatins, I’m ready to offer my initial review of the LEZÉ the Label Sierra Boyfriend Blazer. I will try to update this review as I wear it more and see how the fabric performs over time. I should also note that this is not sponsored. I bought this blazer with my own money and eventually decided to write a review, because I know a lot of you are interested in this brand, too. Structured, confident silhouette

I really, really like the cut of this blazer! I like the clean lines and almost masculine look to it, whether the buttons are done or not - I would be happy to wear this blazer to meetings or Zoom calls with clients.

And, I should note that I use the adjective “masculine” here just to give an idea based on stereotypical fashion ideas, though I acknowledge that what’s considered masculine or feminine is mostly a made-up construct.

Versatile Design

As I mentioned before, this blazer can easily be dressed up or down. Throw on some nice sneakers and jeans and you’re ready to hit your favourite coffee shop or brunch spot with friends. Or, if you want to go for a more stereotypically business look, pair it with heels, slacks and a nice top and you’re ready to make that big sale. It’s really all up to you!

SUPER STRETCHY

This blazer is very stretchy, which I love! I lead a pretty active life, and this blazer keeps up.

EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE

LEZÉ the Label’s claim to fame is that their clothing is pyjama-soft but structured enough that it’s suitable for the office. I have to say I fully agree with this! The fabric is pillowy yet resistant to wrinkles somehow and quite structured, as I mentioned before.

WARM, THICK FABRIC

That comfy fabric is also quite thick, which is perfect for me since I live in Vancouver, Canada, and it can get quite cold and rainy here. Having a warm clothing option that looks so good is a godsend! I do find that if I want to roll up the sleeves it can feel a bit bunchy, but I guess that's the price you pay for having a warm blazer such as this. Another slight downside to the thickness is that it can get a little sweaty. It doesn't breathe super well, but again I think that's to be expected and I'm happy to trade that for having such a warm garment that looks really professional.

SUSTAINABLY MADE

I sincerely appreciate the commitment to sustainability! LEZÉ the Label uses recycled fibres in their clothing and claims to work with a factory where workers earn a fair wage, have proper breaks and medical coverage, and has women in leadership positions. Plus, the brand was founded by women of colour!
