Affordable Ethical + Sustainable Clothing Brands for Everyday Wear
Hey friends. If you’re like me and you love doing good in the world but also love looking like a million bucks but also don’t want to spend a million bucks to do both those things, this post is for you. While ethical and sustainable fashion prices will always be a bit higher than what you’ll find at the mall - as they should be because their workers are paid fairly and the clothing is more environmentally friendly - you can find more affordable sustainable and ethical fashion options if you hunt around a bit. So I’ve rounded up some of the more affordable ethical and sustainable clothing options out there - enjoy!

PACT
Super comfy and well-designed organic cotton basics you can wear to the office, layer and dress up or down. I personally buy most of my basics from PACT and their v-neck t-shirts are my most favourite t-shirt. Ever.
PASSION LILIE
I find Passion Lilie’s designs so fun - the cuts are classic and easy to wear but the patterns and prints are so unique! What’s more, their clothing is fairly made and eco friendly. Awesome!
mata traders
Vibrant ethically made fashion that will light up the room. Mata Traders has a SUPER wide selection of fairly made dresses to suit just about any style.
Thred Up
The largest online consignment and thrift store, Thred Up has dresses from $8, blouses from $4, and many more items for you to love. The best part, though, is knowing that you're contributing to the slowing down of fashion consumption by giving a garment a second life! (note this photo is not from ThredUP because their available photos are just photos of the garments)
Elegantees
Everyday wear with just enough of a twist to make you stand out. Sustainably made and helps life women out of sex trafficking, this one is worth checking out.
Alternative Apparel
Ensuring proper treatment of workers is part of the "Social Responsibility" that Alternative Apparel believes in when crafting and sourcing their easy-to-wear everyday clothing line.
Terrera
Another brand I personally buy from and have partnered with in the past, Terrera makes super comfy, versatile and warm clothing out of organic cotton, bamboo viscose and Tencel. Their clothing is slightly higher in price than some of the other brands on this list but, in my opinion, the quality of their pieces makes it worth it.
