LEZÉ the Label Meri Jumpsuit Review

I’ve had the black Meri Jumpsuit from LEZÉ the Label for several months now and have worn it several times. I have worn it as I work from home and sit at my desk, run to the store, make food, etc., I have work it to a date night with my husband and to get a haircut (my first in a year!). So after wearing it in several situations, I’m ready to offer my initial review of the LEZÉ the Label Meri Jumpsuit. I will try to update this review as I wear it more and see how the fabric performs over time. I should also note that this is not sponsored. I bought this with my own money and eventually decided to write a review, because I know a lot of you are interested in this brand, too. Photos courtesy of LEZÉ the Label.

Super stretchy

This jumpsuit is very stretchy, which I love! I lead a pretty active life, and this jumpsuit keeps up.

Extremely comfortable

LEZÉ the Label’s claim to fame is that their clothing is pyjama-soft but structured enough that it’s suitable for the office. I have to say I fully agree with this! The fabric is pillowy yet resistant to wrinkles somehow and quite structured. However, the not-so-comfortable aspect of this jumpsuit is that you have to unbutton it at the nape and take the whole thing off to go to the washroom, which can feel a little awkward.

Warm, thick fabric

Their super comfy fabric is also quite thick, which is perfect for me since I live in Vancouver, Canada, and it can get quite cold and rainy here. Having a warm clothing option that looks so good is a godsend!

Sustainably made

I sincerely appreciate the commitment to sustainability! LEZÉ the Label uses recycled fibres in their clothing and claims to work with a factory where workers earn a fair wage, have proper breaks and medical coverage, and has women in leadership positions. Plus, the brand was founded by women of colour!

No zippers

This is both a blessing and a curse. Thanks to the super stretchy nature of this garment and the handy snap at the nape that pulls it together, it’s easy to put on and there are no itchy/scratchy zippers to contend with. Having said that, though, it can be a little freaky pulling the jumpsuit over my hips and shoulders because I just have to trust the process and believe in the stretchiness of the garment. It’s been 100% OK so far, but it does spook me a little each time, so I just go slowly when doing this part.

The crotch can be a little sketchy

The crotch is the only thing I truly struggle with on this jumpsuit. As a bustier woman, the crotch occasionally gets pulled up a bit in ways that can be a little unflattering. Thankfully this is only noticeable when I stand with my legs fully closed together and I don’t tend to stand that way at all (I’m usually either moving around, sitting, or have my weight on one leg with the other extended), so this is unlikely to be noticed by any strangers or even by people in my relative vicinity. But it can make me a little self-conscious and make me want to tug the jumpsuit down once in a while just to make sure it’s not riding up.
